Anxiety & Fear
What we fear doing most is usually what we most need to do. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Fear is one of our most primiAve adapAve emoAons, designed to protect us from danger and
keep us safe. It is also one of our most sensiAve and powerful emoAons, capable of being turned
on outside of our awareness and cogniAve control.
Packed with meaning and energy, fear and anxiety can be significant drivers of emoAonal
experience and behavior. And like with any emoAon, fear and anxiety are best channeled when
thinking is acAvated, and adapAve behavior is targeted.
