KEY FEATURES OF YOUR PENSION PLAN
Contributing employers make all contributions to the plan; you
are not required nor permitted to make contributions.
You earn a right to your pension benefit after you complete 5
years of service. This is known as “vesting.”
Several payment options are available. Generally, all options
pay monthly benefits for your lifetime.
Your pension benefit is insured, up to certain limits, by the
Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, a U.S. Government
corporation.
