They believe that without formal membership the
church is not a true church. In becoming a member
you have to attend new member’s classes where
foundational teachings on the Father, Son and Holy
Spirit, scriptures, salvation, sin and the church are
reviewed. After that every prospective member is
interviewed by the elders regarding the teachings
they received and also an opportunity to ask
questions about the church. Thereafter the
member has to make a public profession of faith in
a worship service thereby CONFIRMING their
membership / allegiance.

Over the years I've seen how many got stuck at
this point and never migrated to what God had
originally intended for them. For many years I
found my Identity in the Roman Catholic Church as
a follower, a member of Roman Catholicism. So for
the first twenty years of my life I found myself
belonging to the church 'organization' and not to
Christ.
