Chapter 15 Game Day

DECEMBER 3rd

Today was a day I'd never forget. It began to snow... and snow and snow. It
went from no snow, to tons of snow! So instead of wasting this beautiful day,
worrying about the eye procedure and if it was going to take place, Jay and I
went outside and played in the snow. What a fun day we had. The snow
was all around me and on me, giving me magic healing for the days ahead. I
knew everything would work out this time.

We also hung Christmas lights on the Christmas tree and even wrapped the
porch with several strands. That way the cabin would be full of holiday cheer
when we got back. We even put Santa Mouse at the top of the tree, where
he'd sit every year throughout the Christmas holiday. Finally, we turned all
the lights on and Jay and I sat on the couch and enjoyed the rest of the
evening. It was a magical day, a perfect thing to have taken my mind off
everything for a while and send me on my way.

What a wonderful day! It was magical. Thank you, God.
