thinking and say “this is not for me” because you know that you cannot have an old way of

thinking in the 20 century and succeed while you are living in the 5 century. You must disown
them. You must use the Word of God to overthrow and evacuate all those negative thinking.
They will not help you and the earlier you realize that, the easier it becomes for you to exercise
the power of Christ that is in you. Now, you have known who is on the inside of you, Christ lives

on the inside of you. Your mouth, leg, stomach are parts of Christ. That sort of thinking will

change you and cause you to love God the more and to be able to exercise the power that is on
the inside of you.

3. Abound in the Word of God – Col. 3:16, Rom. 15:13, Matt. 4:1-11
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing
one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the
Lord (Col 3:16).

The Word of God says, “Be filled with His words”. Memorize the scriptures. You cannot

exercise the power that is not within you. Understand that the Word of God and the spirit in you
are one and the same. Jesus says, “The word I speak unto you they are spirit and they are life”.

The life of Christ is on the inside of you. When the word of Christ now joins with the life of
Christ that is on the inside of you, you will become a terror to the devil, to circumstances, to fear

and to anything that satan might throw at you. Do you know the greatest problem of christians

today? It is the inability to imbibe the Word of God. Many christians can’t even quote two or
three scriptures correctly. That is very dangerous because with that, you won’t be able to exercise

the power of God. How can you know Christ if you don’t know the Words of Christ? If the devil

knows the scriptures more than you, you are getting into trouble. Remember, satan knows the
scriptures, he quoted it to Jesus. He trembles at God’s works. So, you need to combine that

knowledge of what is in you in order to tackle all the craftiness of satan.

4. Accept what the scriptures say about anything – Rom. 8:9, Rom. 2:25-29
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.
Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his (Rom 8:9).

This is faith and this is what will help you to get by in life. The least that many know is
the scriptures. However, there is no way in the world that you can do well if you don’t accept

what God says about that particular issue. You must accept what God says about you and about

who you are in Christ. Then, you must accept what God says about the devil and you. You must
