Special Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies




            6 c all purpose flour, sifted

             2 ¼ tbsp baking powder
            1 ½ c oil
            10 eggs

            4 c sugar
            ¾ tbsp salt

            1 ½ c cocoa powder
            1 ¾ tbsp vanilla
            1 ½ tbsp red food color

            ½ tsp vinegar
            powdered sugar for dusting



            Mix all the ingredients and form into cookies. Arrange on pans lined
            with baking sheets.



            Chill for an hour.



            Preheat the oven. Brush the cookies with egg whites.



            Bake the cookies at 350°F for 7 minutes.



                                                                               It is important to bake
                                                                               the cookies while they
                                                                               are cold as this adds to
                                                                                the crispiness so keep
                                                                                the rest of the batch
                                                                                 refrigerated while
                                                                               baking the first batch.
