Emergency Nurses Week
October 6-12, 2019
Emergency nurses make a difference in the lives of their colleagues and patients every day. We take this

week to say “thank you” to the emergency room nurses for their hard work, dedication, service and
commitment to their patients and families and their loyalty to the emergency nursing profession.
Emergency room nurses are the first people we see when we have an accident or a medical emergency.
They work hard to put us at ease and eliminate pain and discomfort.

Emergency Nurses Week is Oct. 6 through 12, with a special focus on Oct. 9 for Emergency Nurses Day.

Healthcare Food Service Workers Week
October 6-12, 2019

We’d like to thank the members of our food service teams for
creating and serving healthy food to our patients, staff and
visitors. From dietitians and chefs to hostesses and servers, they
all play a role in helping us achieve our mission – providing
everyone with good nutrition.

Medical Assistants Recognition Week
October 21-25, 2019

compassion, dedication, and versatility know no bounds!
Your value cannot be expressed enough.

National Respiratory Care Week
October 20-26, 2019

This annual event recognizes the respiratory care
profession and raises awareness about respiratory health
and the clinicians who play such an integral role in the
health and well-being of people with respiratory
conditions.
