protective equipment (PPE) for the personnel who are to perform work at site.
Besides, the Company emergency response team is required to use the self-
contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) in the event of chlorine leak. The SCBA is
subject to periodical inspection and testing by the service vendor.
There is emergency shower and eyewash, and first aid kit as part of the facility/plant
lifesaving equipment.
D.3.2.9 Hazard & Effect Prevention, Control and Mitigation
Based on the Company’s prevention, control and mitigation measures as described
above, a structured hazard and effect management process (HEMP) was
undertaken to demonstrate that the control measures are adequate, sufficient, and
reliable to mitigate and minimise the risk of the major accident events to as low as
reasonably achievable (ALARA).
