The Digital Video Recorder is to be housed in
a metal lockable enclosure . A 19” flatscreen
CCTV monitor to be installed into the manager’s
office.
A Netgear (or similar) router is to be installed in
the counter computer cupboards to connect
to the digital recorder in the manager’s office.
The following items will be required to be installed
by the site electrician for the Menu Screen and
CCTV installations (all CLEAN sockets, red
coloured):
• Double 13A UNSWITCHED spur under the
office worktop at the Comms Tower end
• One Cat 5 cable from the Comms Tower to
the counter, terminated in RJ45 sockets at
both ends and labelled “ CCTV “
• 3No. double 13A S/S/O above the ceiling
adjacent to the menu screen bulkhead
• Three Cat 5 cable from the Menu screens to
the counter, terminated in RJ45 sockets at
both ends and labeled “ Screens”
Scope of Works:
• To install 6 x internal day/night mini domes
& 2 x external day/night/infra red cameras,
controlled by a 8 way 1Tb digital recorder
sited in the managers office in a lockable
box
• To install to the network by a Netgear (or
similar and approved) router
