Navarre decided to press the Vietminh harder than previous. He
used airplanes to move his forces around the countryside rapidly
and quickly set up a fortified base with the airfield. For these
tactics, he was able to move his troops over the countryside to
attack his enemies, and Vietminh had lost a few small battles in
wondering. Then they were strong to fight back with the help of
the people and blocked the French troops on their stronghold
landmark.

The tactics of warfare that Vietminh and French used on the
battles dragging for week after week, and for month continued
after month. It resulted in the death of many thousand soldiers
on both sides and mushed more thousand Vietnamese civilians.
Also, they made the people felt into the homeless and hungry
situations because more villages and fields had destroyed by the
war.

Vietnamese civilians were the victims among the three
ideologies of Nationalism, Communism, and colonialism. They
were in terror among the flying bullets of all ideology directions
that shot on them, screamed with the top of their voice but no
one for help and listen to them. They fail on the field by the
bullets hitting on their bodies, burned in the war village flame,
and cried in their hearts. They lived in the hardship painful
suffering in day by day to hear the thunder bombardment, had
been trying to run out of war flame and get a kill without reason.

The Government France’s leaders in Paris understood that
they could not win the First Indochina war by the poor economy
in the homeland, while French troops were slowly slim and got
worse. Also, French troops were not strong enough to force the
