MINUTES OF MEETING:-
The meeting commenced with the Presidents address to the BOD regarding the agenda for the meet.
He then presented his report on the projects & the club activities carried out in the month of July. Viz.
The Monsoon Picnic, Induction of BOD, Induction of 4 New Members, Tree Plantation, Local Folk
Dance, & Seed Ball Throw to Grow. President Zendeji thanked Rtn. Narendra Lindiat for suggesting an
excellent Venue for the Picnic and Rtn. Kishore Bhalerao for his efforts in connecting and calling DIST
3170 IPDG Rtn. Ravikiran Kulkarni to preside over as chief guest for our Induction programme.
The President then briefed the BOD regarding the just concluded PR & PI District Seminar which was
a feather in the cap of RCTMT, specifically mentioning about the personal appreciation our club
received from the DG for pulling off the seminar beyond his expectations. The DG lauded the efforts
put in by our president & team members viz. Rtn. Milind Ballal, Rtn. Santosh Bade, Rtn.Narendra
Lindiat in garnering such huge participation of various clubs in Platinum & Gold co-hosting.
The president then called upon Rtn. Santosh Bade to give his presentation on the projected CER Fund
flow form Birla Foundation and the activities planned for effective utilisation of the funds. It was an
excellent professionally drafted, self-explanatory slide show presentation depicting the details for the
CER fund flow from Birlas to Rotary Foundation to RCTMT. The queries of the board members were
answered to the satisfaction of all present. Rtn. Santosh mentioned that in Phase 1 we shall be taking
up projects in the areas of 1) DISEASE PREVENTION & TREATMENT AND 2) WATER & SANITATION in
the locations identified in the jurisdiction of KDMC for which we shall be partnering with the Local
Rotary clubs for Execution who will also partly fund the project along with Dist 3142 & RI Foundation.
Since these projects will be done thru Global Grants Rtn. Santosh Bade mentioned that what is least
expected out from our club members visiting abroad in coming years is to try to visit local Rotary clubs
of those countries and try to rope in those clubs as notional partners with a donation of at least USD
1. So that we get an International partner in executing various projects planned in coming 5 years. To
this Nitin Kelkar & Shirish Kelkar both promised to get at least one international Partner. (A good
beginning indeed).
