The user may navigate to different locations within the MDWA using the Navigation tools (see Section
2.3) or by click-dragging within the display. A double-click on the left mouse (LM) button anywhere will
increase the zoom level (i.e., “zoom in”), and a double-click of the right mouse (RM) button decreases the
zoom level (zoom out). Display will increase the zoom level (i.e., “zoom in”), and a double-right-click
decreases the zoom level (“zoom out”). Additionally, the user can click and hold the Ctrl keyboard button
while moving the scroll wheel on the mouse to zoom in or out.

               2.2 Status Bar

The status bar is located at the top of the MAGNET Modeling Environment. The status bar is used to
display different messages related to the status of modeling jobs submitted to the MAGNET server (see
               examples in Table 2-1 below).

               2.3 Map Display Tools

Just below the Status Bar is a suite of standard map tools to help the user navigate to the area of interest
and customize the background image. The user can use the text box to enter the coordinates (i.e., latitude
and longitude) or name (formal or approximate) for the area of interest. The spatial extent of the display
can be controlled with the ‘Zoom Level’ drop-down menu – increasing the zoom level increase the
resolution (and decrease the spatial extent) and vice versa.
