ABSTRACT Blended learning has become increasingly important teaching method in higher education
since 1990. This blended mode combines the face-to-face classroom teaching, self-managed learning
and distance learning. Blended learning is applicable to implement in almost area such as
engineering, medical and computer. Face to Face learning is occurs at specific place and times.
Problems are arise in this conventional method when miss taking down notes and did not understand
well the course during lecture time. The online provide the notes and always be available to refer
anywhere and accessible in 24/7. Therefore, this paper aims to discuss the implementation of
blended learning that have been done by a researcher in their institutions or organizations. The main
focus is twofold: implementation in Politeknik, Malaysia and International. This paper carries out a
comprehensive review of the component and involving implementation.
