The Source & Summit of Our Lives
The greatest event in the history of the world
is the suffering, death and resurrection of
Jesus Christ. By this event, which we call the
Paschal Mystery, Jesus saved us from sin,
death and the power of the devil.
The Paschal Mystery (i.e. all the events that took place between the last supper on
Holy Thursday and His ascension into heaven - the last supper, his suffering &
death on Good Friday, the descent to the dead on Holy Saturday, his glorious
resurrection on Easter Sunday, all the way to the ascension.
