Describe the situation or event related to the individual's or team's performance.

Jon has been increasing his knowledge on planning, he started as specialist for Global Sourcing which is the
lowest entry level in 2014 and in 3 years and 6 months. he become the most complete Buyer/planner in Global
Sourcing. referring to his competencies, I would like to mention the mastery he is getting on applying the
learning into the day to day planning and working with IT to improve the system (SAP) functionalities but what
is remarkable to Jon is his wiliness on teaching other people what he learned; that is the case with a temp
employee for Global Sourcing that was totally train by him and right now is on her own. The biggest impact to
enterprise is the 20% increase in OTIF for 2017 in Contract Manufactured items and the reduction of out of
stock to only 2 cases in 2017 due to supply chain.

Describe in detail the individual's or team's notable behaviors.
The main distinguish point between Jon and other employees that took the 2 years class (30 people); he was
the only one challenging himself taking all the test and getting the certification; he was the first to do it and up to
now the only one.

What were the results of the individual’s or team’s behaviors?
Jon was the first employee in the GOJO APICS class to pass all exams and become CPIM certified. The
APICS class is a 2 years program implemented by GOJO to increase planning capabilities; Jon has to take 5
test (including a final one that took more than 4 hours) in order to get the certification.

CONTRIBUTORS:
Between myself and his current boss Heather Nau we have been encouraging him to accomplish this
certification, always providing the time to attend to the classes and providing the coaching to apply
appropriately the concepts learned into day to day planning activities and risk analysis.
