PROFILE:
Describe the situation or event related to the individual's or team's performance.
Leveraging the GOJO Team Effectiveness Model to develop individual team
members, leaders and sponsors toward higher performance is an innovative way of
working. There are various approaches to helping teams become better, but this
Model really does put GOJO on the high end of the innovative learning curve.
The competencies demonstrated by the team include learning agility, leadership,
business literacy and technical knowledge - all which were needed to effectively
deliver the results for 50+ teams!
This team worked together in the true spirt of 'team effectiveness' and doing what it
takes.
The enterprise is 500+ people greater in understanding the dynamics of team
effectiveness, being able to share with others and increasing the probability of
successful team outcomes. Sponsors are becoming more aware, more engaged
and growing in their ability to support teams in a way that drives motivation and
results.
Describe in detail the individual's or team's notable behaviors.
This team has multiple areas of responsibility and accountability, but stayed true to
the goal of delivering the GOJO Team Effectiveness Model. They deployed
resources to maximize their own team effectiveness and demonstrated the very
behaviors they were asking of others within teams.
A special shout out to the team leader - Doug Detwiler, who not only led the team,
but brought on a whole NEW team, trained them and deployed them toward their
successful deliverables.
And to Joe Smerick - team sponsor - who supported the team along the way and
established the coalition at the senior leadership level to drive the level of
importance for engagement of others in the process.
What were the results of the individual’s or team’s behaviors?
This group successfully supported over 50 teams in applying principles and
practices of the GOJO Team Effectiveness Model. This required many hours of
dedicated collaboration and facilitation to ensure support of all the teams
