NOMINEE NOMINATOR DEPARTMENT
Saundra Williamson Kody Bochard Shipping 200320
Describe the situation or event related to the individual's or team's performance.
When the Wooster facility opened, many seasoned personnel from both shipping and receiving transferred,
leaving many vacancies and workers who have not been trained in those positions. I personally noticed a
decline in quality, having to deal with issues almost daily, between chemicals being received under the wrong
lot numbers, being received in incorrect quantities, and a number of other implications. unfortunately,
communication can sometimes be difficult, especially with half your personnel being new, but Sandy took
charge in communicating between our departments to learn how to fix the issues at hand, and by putting
proper working procedures in place. whenever there was an issue, she would strive to correct it in a timely
fashion, and was always giving 100%.
Describe in detail the individual's or team's notable behaviors.
Sandy was not afraid to deal with ambiguity. she put her all into correcting the things that were wrong, and
understanding why and how my department operates. she has great work ethic and takes pride and
responsibility for her work.
What were the results of the individual’s or team’s behaviors?
Sandy has demonstrated that she can properly perform all tasks that are expected, and exceeds expectations
by going above and beyond to get the job done, while dealing with ambiguity. If I ever have an issue or concern
with raw materials she is the one I communicate with to ensure a timely and correct response.
