The Bible Tells Me So

FOUR JERUSALEM TEMPLES are mentioned in the Bible.
Two (Solomon's and Herod's) have come and gone, but
two more (the Tribulation Temple and the Millennial Tem-
ple) are prophesied to be built in the future. The final Tem-
ple (Millennial) will be erected by the Lord Jesus Christ
Himself when He establishes the Messianic kingdom, and
it is described in detail in Ezekiel 40-48. But the Tribula-
tion Temple must come first, and the evidence for its con-
struction and use is found in four passages in the Bible—
passages found in Daniel, Matthew, 2 Thessalonians, and
Revelation.
We know that the Tribulation Temple will be built just
as surely as our ancestors knew that the Messiah was com-
ing. Daniel, whose reliability in predicting the future can
be arithmetically shown (see below), prophesied both of
these events along with many other revelations concerning
the future of the world (Dan 9).
The Lord vindicated Daniel's vision when He quoted
the prophet (Mt 24) and added a message of His own.
Then the apostle Paul followed suit (2 Th 2), referring
to the Tribulation Temple. Finally, the apostle John added
