emptiness that prevents millions of us from participating
in prayer.
Most assuredly through the talents of each of us, addi-
tional methods of praising the LORD will be found, and
the subject of prayer will take on new dimensions.
With the third Temple, we end our period of mourning,
and a new world should begin for us. Our personality as a
people will find new directions toward a brotherhood of

man.
It is certainly hard to quibble with renewing the vitality
of Jewish prayer, giving a broader avenue for individual tal-
ents in the worship of God (Zuckerberg draws quite a bit
from the Psalms about worship through music and dance),
and bringing to an end Israel's lengthy mourning over the
loss of the second Temple nineteen centuries ago. Finally,
the new Temple of God, thinks the writer, would open up
the possibility of a new "brotherhood of man."
Zuckerberg's views are unique, and his theology very
original. He wants a brotherhood of man to be caused by
God finding a suitable "resting place" on the earth (the
Temple). He wants to involve the Jewish youth very deeply
in the project, and he wants to undertake the difficult task of
persuading the world of Islam that the rebuilding of the
Jerusalem Temple is for the best:

How can we think of building the temple with the revered
Mosques on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
Our people are not concerned with the rebuilding and
what it has to offer them. Why start up? Why look for
trouble? The answer is a new world order with the brother-
hood of man will result.
First we must interest people in rebuilding the third Tem-
ple. We propose as follows:
