Understanding from a Wellness Perspective.
Her strong desire to support the work done by parents,
teachers, educators, and others who work with the 8-14 age
group and beyond, led to Sandy’s Experience: A teaching tool
to alleviate the scourge of child abuse and more specifically,
child sexual abuse.
She is currently working on Old Man Sage and Other
Stories as one tool to help parents and others to alleviate the
impact of negative competing aspects of modern life that could
potentially counteract positive parenting efforts.
It is her hope that parents, educators, counsellors, and all
who adhere to the African maxim: It takes a village to raise a
child, will find the story line and reflective exercises to be
useful and of benefit to them and those who are within their
sphere of influence. © 2019
