15) Immoral or indecent conduct.
16) Conviction of a criminal act.
17) Engaging in sabotage or espionage (industrial or otherwise).
18) Violations of the sexual harassment policy.
19) Failure to report a job-related accident to the employee's manager or failure to take or
follow prescribed tests, procedures or treatment.
20) Sleeping during work hours.
21) Release of confidential information without authorization.
22) Any other conduct detrimental to other employees or The Lawson Academy’s interests
or its efficient operations.
23) Refusal to speak to supervisors or other employees.
24) Dishonesty.
25) Failure to possess or maintain the credential/certificate required of the position.
For employees who possess an employment contract which provides for other than at-will
employment, the procedures and process for termination shall be as specified in the contract.
Texas Public Information Act
Texas Government Code, Chapter 552, gives you the right to access government records; and an
officer for public information and the officer’s agent may not ask why you want them. All
government information is presumed to be available to the public. Certain exceptions may apply
to the disclosure of the information. Governmental bodies shall promptly release requested
information that is not confidential by law, either constitutional, statutory, or by judicial decision,
or information for which an exception to disclosure has not been sought.
