Project Understanding
Bayhealth Medical Center (Bayhealth) will be
expanding their Primary Care health services
at Mattlind Way by offering new medical clinic
of approximately 5,000 SF. Anticipated project
completion is scheduled for first quarter of 2023.
Bernardon’s health care experience and
integrated design approach makes us the right
team to provide professional architectural
and interior design services, with mechanical,
plumbing, electrical, and fire protection (MEPFP)
engineering services provided by our engineering
consultant, Furlow Associates, Inc. of Newark,
Delaware.
Through our collective team approach, we will
review the test fit plan provided by Bayhealth
and verify the clinical team’s program, life safety,
and plan adjustments as required. In addition,
we will review and incorporate Bayhealth design
guidelines and brand recognition. We understand
the current program includes extensive
renovations to an existing clinical space on the
first floor to include waiting/registration, offices
and exam rooms, treatment rooms, vitals,
Nursing hubs, and clinic support spaces.
