Bernardon will perform the design services as described within Project Approach, for the

following fees.

Assumptions
1. It is assumed that Bayhealth will coordinate selection and procurement of furniture, fixtures,
and FF&E.
2. Fire protection and life safety modifications will be provided based on a performance
specification.
3. Work within the existing core (stairwells, elevators, elevator lobby) is not included in the
scope of this project.
4. Energy modeling and Life Cycle Costs Analysis are not figured in this proposal.
5. For security, nurse call, A/V, data and communications systems, Furlow Associates will
provide pathways (conduits, raceways). Furlow Associates will provide communication wiring
runs. The owner will be responsible for all final connections. Documentation of wiring for
these systems will be provided by others.
