of Microsoft power point.3) The high school teachers have encountered serious problems in
computer competency.4) The proposed development program is an answer to the problems met

On the basis of above findings and conclusions, the following recommendations are
forwarded: 1) The Department of Education (DepEd) national officials should conduct national
level in–service training programs at least twice a year with a minimal registration fee. School
administrators must send their teachers to attend there in–service training. 2) Administrators
must encourage their teacher to enroll in short – term computer courses available on the locality
or to take up units for the masteral degree in information technology. 3) Administrators must
motivate those teachers who have shown fear using the computers so that they will have the
courage to use computers. 4) School administrators should acquire additional computer units for
use of all or many of the teachers. 5) It is recommended that the proposed program be adopted
to enhance the computer competence in instruction for teachers. The researcher may help along
this endeavor.
