             Program was developed.
Based on the aforecited findings of this study, the following conclusions were formulated
             1) The teachers are qualified and adequately experienced in their own right to be in the
profession 2 ) The respondents-teachers are moderately competent in using CAI in HOTS, but
need upgrading and enhancement of their competence along the different areas 3) The teachers
are comparable in their level of competence in using CAI in HOTS 4) The proposed program need
to be developed for enhancement of teachers’ competence using CAI in HOTS.
The following recommendations are forwarded based on the salient findings and
conclusions: 1) All concerned teachers must be encouraged to finish their graduate degrees in
masteral and doctoral levels to enhance their professional growth 2) Since the competence of
the respondents in using CAI in HOTS was found to be “slightly competent ” level and needs
upgrading and enhancement, in-service trainings should be formulated and implemented in
the school, division and even regional level for such, a proposed enhancement program was
recommended 3) Carefully selected variables should further be identified, specifically those that
would determine more effective in science teaching 4) Further, research should be considered
to look into others concern of Science teaching not covered by the study.

proposed program development was formulated to enhance further the level of computer

focused on the level of computer competencies of the respondent teachers along; Microsoft Word,
Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Internet. Problem No. 4 identified the problems met by
the secondary teachers relative to computer competency? Finally, Problem No. 4 determined the
program development that can be formulated to enhance the teachers’ computer competence.
Further, the following are the salient findings of the study: 1) Majority of the respondent
