performance training reports.
3. Map out training plans, design and develop, direct and supervise training
programs whether in-house or outsourced, scout and recommend training
speakers and/or lecturers.
4. Formulate, design and/or choose appropriate training methods suitable for
a designed training program such as simulations mentoring, on-job-training,
professional development classes and other.
5. Promote available training opportunities to students and employees and
provide necessary information.
6. Spearhead the conduct of organization-wide needs assessment and
identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed through training,
workshop, or symposia.
7. Exercise initiative in generating funds, study and research grants, and
fellowship for students, faculty, and personnel.
8. Monitor and assess instructional effectiveness and summarize evaluation
reports determining the impact of conducted training on employees skills,
work attitude and performances.
9. Initiate and develop linkages with other institutions and other government
and non-government agencies through covenants, agreements, consortia and
others to pursue common activities, projects and programs.
10. Coordinate and consult with other academic units vital in the success of
training programs and projects.
11. Prepare and submit semestral action plan and accomplishment report to
the Office of the President.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TRAINING COMMITTEE
The Training Committee shall have specific responsibilities for training the
University staff. The Committee shall:
1. Analyze training needs identified by the Deans and Heads, irrespective of
gender and disability.
2. Consider and approve training plans for each academic year.
3. Recommend training service providers in line with government service
regulations.
