4. Assess whether training has achieved its aim in terms of subsequent work
performance and recommend strategies.
5. Conduct post training evaluation.

INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TRAINING
The following individuals shall have key roles to play in training and
development:
• President
• Chairman, Training Committee
• Vice Presidents
• Human Resource Management Officers
• Deans and Heads
THE ROLE OF CHAIRMAN OF TRAINING COMMITTEE
1. The Training Officer shall have the prime responsibility of promoting and
ensuring that the Training Policy is successfully executed in the organization.
2. To ensure that University students and employees are appropriately
trained.
3. To champion training as a necessary investment for organizational
performance improvement (investment in people).
THE ROLE OF PRESIDENT
1. To ensure that there is always an active training plan in place at the start
of every academic year.
2. To approve the proposed trainings based on the Training and Development
Policy.
