Nearby residents stopped by to thank the team for the amazing job that they were are doing. I am
sure most of us drive through this route every day and it’s a proud moment. Through this project, I
am reminded what an amazing team we have at VMware.

GO Giving Network—Pune

Creating Educational Aids, Handmade articles, Fund Raising, & Science model captioning in
Braille
Pune team collaborated with 3 NGOs in Q3FY18. Volunteers worked with Seva and IDEA foundation in
making educational aids such as science models, display charts and flash cards. Children of age group
between 10 to 15 were taught computers; varied topics such as excel sheets, internet, email, online
banking, ticket booking, etc. were covered by volunteers at the computer learning center of IDEA foun-
dation in Kothud.
Maher Foundation provided a platform to work with women with disability. Volunteers were moved to
see how destitute women and children are supported there. The production department of Maher Foun-
dation provided an opportunity to the volunteers to get involved in making hand-made articles, which
