Sapling Plantation activity
With the aim of sensitizing school children supported by Youth For Seva, Go Serve team organized
a sapling plantation event in addition to awareness activities on a few social and civic issues.
Supported adequately by around 50 volunteers, the day started with an energetic discussion and
the planting locations began to take shape. Students and volunteers braved the hot sun and active-
ly participated in the exercise.
As part of the awareness event, volunteers skits on issues such as child marriage, waste manage-
ment, digital literacy, respecting elders etc. Students ran the show with brilliant performances whilst
driving home the importance these issues have in our lives.
