ภายนอกระเบียงชั้นบนปูพื้นด้วยกระเบื้องโมเสก ซึ่งเป็น
ศิลปะแบบยุโรปที่เริ่มเข้ามาในสยาม ในสมัยนั้น กระเบื้องเริ่ม
เข้ามาเป็นวัสดุปูพื้นที่นิยมเพราะมีคุณภาพแข็งแรง และยังมี
ลวดลายสวยงาม
“พื้นระเบียงชั้นสองของบ้านสุวรรณเวศมเป็นลวดลาย
สวยงามด้วยกระเบื้องโมเสกชิ้นเล็ก ๆ นอกจากนั้น การท�า
รางน�้าฝนภายนอกยังก่อด้วยงานปูนปั้นยาว เพื่อรับน�้าจาก
หลังคาแล้วระบายออกตรงส่วนที่เป็นคอราง แต่ปัจจุบันจะ
ปิดรางน�้าฝนนี้ เพราะส่วนระเบียงด้านนอกเมื่อปรับปรุงเป็น
“ร้านอาหารบ้านหมอมี” จะปรับเป็นโซนนั่งรับประทานอาหาร
โดยกั้นผนังกระจกโดยรอบเพื่อติดเครื่องปรับอากาศ พื้น
กระเบื้องโมเสกบางจุดที่ช�ารุดตามกาลเวลาจะปรับปรุงใหม่
แต่ยังคงลวดลายดั้งเดิมไว้ ตามเจตนารมณ์ของทายาทหมอมี
ที่ต้องการรักษาแบบบ้านเดิมเอาไว้ให้มากที่สุด”
ห้องน�้าชั้นบนเป็นส่วนที่จะคงสภาพเดิมเอาไว้ได้มาก
ที่สุด อ่างล้างหน้า และกระเบื้องปูผนัง ยังเป็นของเดิมตั้งแต่
เริ่มสร้างบ้าน บนกระเบื้องนั้นมีลวดลายพิมพ์สีรูปกังหันลม
และมีชื่อบริษัทน�าเข้ากระเบื้องจากต่างประเทศในอดีต
ปรับปรุงเพียงในส่วนของกระเบื้องปูพื้น

They have recently renovated the main house into a premi-
um restaurant, showing rare decoration items from the time
of King Rama V, to welcome people to experience the life-
style of the old days as well as to feel Moh Mee family’s
heart-warming air.
Baan Moh Mee Restaurant is established with thor-
oughness in every step of the renovation and decora-
tion in order to maintain the original architecture as
much as possible. The deck is re-decorated as a dining
area with view of greeneries and the canal. The hall is
decorated with rare and priceless furniture, such as
their own red sofa once used as a prop in the famous
and original Thai film “Leb Kruth”, released in 1957. The
renovation takes place in the area by the Saen Saeb
Canal, by building the new kitchen and the basement is
turned into an impressive wine cellar.
All the dishes served are of finely selected ingredi-
ents to suit their delicately designed menu. And all the
guests would be satisfied with the cuisine, surrounded
by nature and under such a warm and sublime atmo-
