In her statement, the candidate indicated she was sitting in the
exam room when her phone vibrated and that is when she
remembered it was in her pocket. She then took it out to turn
it off, when she saw an important message.

FOODNUTH (T) P010 (MC) The Supervisor of the examination reported that the candidate
was observed to have an object in her pocket. On investigation
by the Invigilator it was revealed that it was a cellular phone.
She then indicated she forgot to remove it even though the
announcement was made.
In her statement, the candidate indicated that she asked to be
excused to take a tablet because she was not feeling well and
that was when the cell phone was seen. The phone was
confiscated and she was allowed to continue taking the exam.

MATHEMATICS GENERAL
Centre/Candidates: 1004040188
MATH (G) P010 (MC) The Supervisor reported at approximately 2:30PM, when
papers were being collected, a 'noise was heard'. When the
Invigilator found the candidate with the cell phone his response
was, "It does not matter because it is the end of the
examination session." The same response was offered to the
Supervisor. The Supervisor further indicated that candidates
were reminded at the start of the examinations of the rules.
In his statement, the candidate indicated, "My phone was
accidentally left in my possession after morning session & lunch
break..." he further stated, "the button on the screen was
pressed in my pocket giving off a sound after the examination
was completed & the booklets were collected".

OA (G) P020 (ESSAY) Supervisor reported that the candidate left the examination
room without seeking the permission of the Supervisor.
In his statement, the candidate reported that he left to retrieve
a calculator.
