- Historical Account and Strategy of the Project

    From 19 o 1988 a first French team, under the direciton of Moni Kerran,
undertoo the stratigrahic and architectural sutdy of the "Coastal Fortress' (cf.
Figure 1) and its immediate enirons (Kerran et al. 1982). The ublicaiton of the
synthesis hich she is resently comleting (Kerran forthcoming) ill comlement
usefully the ifrst of the olumes deoted to the or of the receding Danish team of
Moesgaard, hich has recently aeared (Hojlund and Andersen 1994, and concerns
this same sector of the site hich still arouses heated debate concerning the
chronology.
