Two covers bearing Indian Service stamps with the Nasik
PAKISTAN overprint have been recorded; both were sent by the
Locust Warning Officer in Guadur in December 1948.
Although Indian stamps with a hand-stamped PAKISTAN
overprint were issued in Muscat on December 20th, 1947, they
were not placed on sale in Guadur. They were, nevertheless,
valid for use there, and the anna and 2 anna values are known used
on covers which are of the greatest rarity.
