                   Eugenol may protect liver from disease.
                   Clove is used as an additive in the food industry and in dental preparations.

                   Clove essential oil can purify blood, and has many, many antioxidants. Pregnant women
                   and young children should not use it.

                   Some people reported allergies, seems like hystamines reacting with harmless food is
                   what is causing it.

                   2.10. Ginger essential oil
                   (Aetheroleum zingiberis)


                   A well known health inducing root can be distilled into an essential oil containing
                   gingerols.

                   Can be used instead of ginger root itself, for diffusing or applying topically, or if you
                   extracted the oil yourself from organic ginger you have farmed yourself. Chapter 5 proves
                   safety of using essential oils for food is disputed and very dangerous, so only use ginger
                   root for your food. A better and safer application is to add a drop of it into your massage

                   oil, as it is said to add a warming quality to the massage oil and boost the immune system.
                   Ginger essential oil is a very strong oil, so use it carefully in combination with enough
                   neutral oil.

                   3. Important carrier (vegetable) oils
                   Various cold-pressed base oils can be used to dilute the essential oils so they can be used
                   externally or internally, or used to health enhancing purposes themselves.
                   As essential oils are too concentrated, and are produced with vaporization, meaning all
                   substances which are heat sensitive are destroyed, cold-pressed oils with anti-oxidant,
                   anti-bacterial and anti-fungal substances might help when they do not.
                   Unlike essential oils, they do not evaporate and they do not have a strong aroma.
                   They can be combined to have a mixed carrier oil with better viscosity or absorption.

                   3.1. Olive oil

                   Olive oil used as a food helps weight loss with improving metabolism and digestion, the
                   antioxidants it contains prevent aging and studies show it is a protector of the
                   cardiovascular system, and even beneficial for lowering blood pressure. It is considered
                   to help prevent many ailments and conditions, and it is recommended to use real
                   extra-virgin olive oil in everyday diet. Be careful of using it too much, prolonged use can
                   cause inflammations and even gall stones.

                   The preferred carrier oil to dilute the essential oils is the olive oil, preferably a
                   cold-pressed (extra-virgin) olive oil with a neutral taste and scent. Olive oils are the best

                   for retaining a scent, and are used for this purpose historically. This makes it perfect for
                   the traditional oil infusion process of making your own essential oils.
