state and federal grants, as well as maintaining existing and cultivating new partnerships with
business, industry, community and other institutions and programs to meet institutional and
service population needs;
• Planning and directing complex operations at many levels, including as a department director,
executive director, vice president, president and public office holder;
• Success managing financial, accounting, administrative and audit operations; and
• Building and maintaining consensus, working effectively with colleagues and other
stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and who possess diverse perspectives; resolving
challenging issues, fostering a genuine team environment, motivating direct-report and other
colleagues and challenging them to excel.
