After contributing to the growth and success of several organizations over the last 20 plus years, I am
seeking challenges with an organization in need of someone with exceptional administration, personnel
management, leadership, financial and problem solving abilities.

As evidenced in the resume I submitted, my experience encompasses city administration, project
management and infrastructure debt financing, human resources, finance and accounting, risk
management and grant administration. My ability to analyze needs and implement solutions designed to
reduce risks, costs and maximize employee resources has proven to be one of my greatest assets.
I have been credited with significantly impacting and upgrading the bottom-line of local agency finances
where I have worked. I excel at streamlining less-than-efficient procedures to boast productivity and
increase customer service levels. Proactive management of crucial external relationships with state, federal
and local agencies has allowed me to increase productivity considerably. I have worked closely with
agencies such as State Water Resources Control Board on wastewater projects, both FEMA and OES on
disaster recovery efforts, negotiated with private insurance companies in recovery efforts related to
property damage in coordination with risk management JPAs, and manage infrastructure debt financing
through the issuance of bonds, certificates of participation and loan programs through the State Revolving
Fund, USDA, Dept. of Health Services and levee districts in coordination with the DWR and USACE. I have
also negotiated property acquisitions, disposals and lease agreements.
I know that my proven leadership skills, strong commitment to high ethical and professional standards, and
flexibility in devising proactive responses to changing organizational and economic conditions would allow
me to make a significant contribution within the Town of Paradise management team. I believe this is a
“once in a lifetime opportunity” for someone like myself to be part of a great rebuilding effort and would
be honored to be considered for this position.
