● Managed committee meetings and oversaw the drafting and submission of comment letters to
regulators.
● Developed new tools to facilitate communication within the committee and amongst member
agencies such as webinar-based special sessions.

● San Luis Obispo County, Los Osos Wastewater Development Project: Evaluated wastewater
disposal alternatives to help reduce reliance on potable water supplies and mitigate seawater
intrusion. Assisted in the preparation of the Viable Project Alternatives screening reports in
support of the Proposition 218 ballot.
● UC Santa Cruz, California Campus Reclaimed Water Study: Evaluated alternative water
sources and identified potable offset projects, and the related regulatory requirements, for the
UC Santa Cruz Campus.
● City of Fresno, Recycled Water Master Plan: Identified and developed alternatives for
maximizing the use of recycled water in the City of Fresno to offset landscape irrigation,
agricultural irrigation, industrial water use, and residential indoor use. This project included
developing the permitting implications and cost estimation for the different project
alternatives.
● Master Planning Regulatory support: Company-wide regulatory leader responsible for
tracking water, wastewater, storm water, and watershed related regulations on a local, state,
and federal level, and communicating information to clients and staff. Performed regulatory
analysis for master plans for the City of San José, the City of South San Francisco, and
Merced County Castle Airport.
● Mountain House Community Services District, Water Treatment Plant: Prepared Report of
Waste Discharge.
● Bay Area Clean Water Agencies, Stormwater Diversion White Paper: Investigated the
technical, regulatory, and economic feasibility of stormwater diversions to POTWs for the
Bay Area Clean Water Agencies. Work was performed in response to a regional permit
issued to the Bay Area stormwater dischargers requiring them to pilot low flow and first
flush diversion projects.
● City of Fresno, City of Bakersfield, and City of Tulare: Best Practicable Treatment or Control
(BPTC) - Prepared the “Final List of Contaminants of Concern” and the “Comprehensive
Evaluation” for the Best Practicable Treatment or Control. Established protocol to determine
constituents of de minimis concern to justify eliminating constituents from BPTC programs.
Led studies to evaluate percolation pond management to reduce arsenic and manganese in
groundwater at the Fresno/Clovis treatment plant.
● WERF Project CEC4R08: Trace Organic Compounds Removal during Wastewater
Treatment - Managed project schedule and budget, provided liaison with WERF, put together
progress reports and peer-reviewed data.
● CECs White Papers: Developed White Papers to explain the potential risks and data gaps due
