specific to solid waste/diversion enterprises with staff, vendors, unions, and 3rd parties.

• Led or worked collaboratively to green and/or document processes: Climate Action Plans;
Carbon Footprint Plans; CalRecycle AB939 Plans, including SRRE, HHWE and CoIWMP.
Processing/Logistics/Engineering
• Redesigned shop floors, transportation networks & logistics to boost efficiency/profitability.
Experiences
Regional General Manager Greif, Inc. Stockton, CA 2015-Present
• Managed 3 recycling plants in San Jose, Stockton and Los Angeles, along with two
brokerage offices, with a combined $40M P&L and 65+ staff.
• Oversaw volume growth of 15% between 2016 to 2019, while successfully navigating new
export market specifications and logistical regulations. Drove safety and profitability goals.
• Opened new LA plant and installed commercial MRF in San Jose. Earned new
contracts with Amazon, Shred-It and CSU East Bay through competitive bids.
District Manager WM, Inc. San Leandro, CA 2011-2015
• Attained accreditation for 800 ton/day C&D/Dry Waste Material Recovery Facility as the 1st
large MRF in California to achieve 10% or less recyclables in residual output.
• Managed three MRFs and related fleets on the Davis Street Integrated Waste Campus: an 800
ton/day C&D/Dry Waste MRF; a 375 ton/day Single Stream MRF; and a 125 ton/day mobile
MRF. Drove all safety and profitability/EBIT goals; managed a $50M P&L and 130+ employees.
