opportunity to be challenged and grow. I believe that every organization needs a strong leader that will inspire and
encourage their team members, leading to a successful organization.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with my B.A. in Business Administration from Fresno Pacific University while

I currently hold three certifications with the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) and sit on the
Central California (Sierra) Chapter’s Board of Directors. I have extensive waste, recycling, diversion, budgetary, and
contractual preparation and monitoring experience. My experience with the County of Tulare and Kings Waste and
Recycling Authority has provided me ample opportunity to successfully create strategic plans, set goals and milestone
markers, and reorganize operations, fiscal, administrative, human resources, and payroll divisions, while creating
more productive workflows. I have several years of experience working with the State of California, Tulare County
Departments, and various outside agencies; which requires excellent written and oral communication skills to convey
information effectively and accurately. I am able to successfully interpret laws and implement programs. I feel
confident with my skills in analyzing data for reporting purposes, formulating recommendations, communicating, and
implementing program change management or implementation, and quality assurance. I have excellent computer
skills and am at an advanced level in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Publisher; I am confident that
I can navigate any program required to complete my job duties successfully.
My assets include a strong attention to detail, providing for superb quality assurance, skilled at learning new concepts
accurately and in a timely manner, working well under pressure, and communicating and recommending ideas clearly
and effectively. I have several years of experience of interpreting legislation. I have exceptional communication skills
and work well with members of the community, peers, management, municipalities, and State and Federal regulators.
My resume is enclosed as for review and eligibility for this position per the criteria listed in your job flyer. I look
forward to the opportunity to interview with you to further discuss my strengths as they relate to the Regional Waste
Authority Director position. I appreciate your time in reviewing my resume.
I hope to hear from you shortly.
