dissemination - go through it with them. There may be one there may be a dozen that you are correcting.
Everyone has a learning curve and an understanding curve. It's understanding what each one is and
               working through that with them.

Please describe a project in which you played a major role in creating pathways for
improvement for those in your community.

I was in Austin, Texas. In Austin they go for zero waste - one of the main targets is recycling and so we I
went to the cities and school districts and discussed this with them and I got to the point where my
biggest success was the school districts - we got them to the point they would recycle and we would
keep track of the weight of the product coming in and we created a competition between the different
schools and the winning school got a prize. We got them to see the result set - they adapted to it
quickly - they took to it. They kept going. It was an administrative project. It was the training and
teaching of those around for what was needed.

The State of California has passed laws requiring increased recycling of Organic Waste, with the
goal of reducing disposal of organic waste by 50 percent compared to 2014 levels, by 2020.
Please provide your experience with recycling and solid waste in addressing this issue.
Organic waste was another big one in Austin - they had started a program to start organic waste
programs - for us it's another commodity - we went public with it - we had open discussions and forums
with council, mayor, had townhalls. We brought it onsite where they now have a composting facility -
they take all that in. They even take in animals. They take in animals. Some if was wheeled back to the
cities and in some cases sold to the public.

What is your experience managing diverse groups of employees, mentoring and growing them, and
what employment issues and challenges have you faced in communicating with different personality
               types?

That is a wellgroomed in communication. I have dealt with this a lot every groups of employees I've
ever managed has different personality types. The way that I have found to make people more
productive or onboard with what we're trying to accomplish.

The last place we went to, I had a gentleman who was at the top in terms of seniority. People wouldn't
               talk
to him and most people were negative about him. I learned his personality, how he worked, how he
perceived life. In about three months he became the #1 driver. It's all about how you communicate
them. Everyone has their own personalities you just have to work with them.

What do you consider to be your greatest professional strength? What is something you
               would like to improve?

I would say - seeing the whole picture - whenever I have come into a new environment. I digest it,
review it methodically and encapsulate the whole structure so I can find what needs the most attention.
One of my weak points that I need to strengthen - if I could I would work 24 hours a day - sometimes I
have to stand back and delegate out and have some other people do some of the work I would do.

Anything else you would like to add? If out of area? Are you willing to relocate to the Bay Area
               ( )

Not a big move to me. I have the knowledge of that type of business all across the Country.
