1. Why are you interested in the Financial Analyst role?

Jodi has been in aviation most of her career, but went for her MBA and is looking to apply
those skills to a new role.

2. Please tell me about your current position and its day­to­day responsibilities.

She was most recently and admin analyst. Jodi did cross­benefit analysis, cost­cutting, identified
efficiency opportunities, tracking via Excel, and also some reporting.

3. What do you know about the City of Big Bear Lake and the Department of Water and
Power?

She is a local and knows it from the customer point of view.

4. What relevant accounting experience do you have that would allow you to succeed in this
role?

Jodi does lack a bit in accounting, but is familiar with quickbooks and payroll reporting.

5. The right candidate will be a long­term fit, how do you get the message across that you are
that candidate?

Jodi has lived in Big Bear Lake and owns property there. She is there for good.

6. What do you consider to be your greatest professional strength?

Jodi is a lifelong student and enjoys a challenge. She is unafraid of tackling tough tasks.
