               General Questions
               1. Why are you interested in the Financial Analyst role?

Carrie is interested because she feels that this job lines up with her skillset. Her accounting
                 background aligns nicely.

               2. Please tell me about your current position and its daytoday responsibilities.

Carrie spend her career with the University of Arizona where she would do billing and coding, report
generation, financial reporting, accounting, bank statement reconciliation, cost studies, and
purchasing along with other various responsibilities. She created efficiency with her reports and
                 made information easier.

               3. What do you know about the City of Big Bear Lake and the Department of Water and
                 Power?

She knows it is a smaller staff compared to what she has come from, and knows the
complexity will not be as much of a challenge given the scale she has worked in previous
roles. She knows it is public facing and there would be the challenge of catching up on a
backlog of work. She would love to know more about the water side of things and how the
                 water rights work.

               Position Specific Questions
               4. What relevant accounting experience do you have that would allow you to succeed in this
                 role?

Carrie has done mountains of data analysis, accounting, and collaboration with data scientists. She
has a solid foundation with asset reporting, Excel reporting, data mining, and accounting practices.
She also has grant accounting experience and is familiar with audit practices and rules. She has that
                 attention to detail.

               5. The right candidate will be a longterm fit, how do you get the message across that you are
                 that candidate?

Carrie has a family, her husband is contracted there in the community. They love Big Bear Lake and
the community. They don't ever want to move and she knows this is a longterm challenge in
assisting the DWP with getting their financial/accounting in order.

               6. What do you consider to be your greatest professional strength?

Her greatest professional strength is being a social accountant who can explain her reporting
