NURSING HIRING PATTERNS AND RECRUITMENT STRATEGIES
Nursing hiring at Michigan Medicine typically follows the academic calendar and the timing of
NCLEX testing at the end of semesters. The increased supply of new graduates during these
periods makes it important for our hiring units to proactively plan hiring efforts to ensure a strong
pool of applicants.
To maintain a steady pipeline of candidates, recruitment efforts continue throughout the year,
providing consistent coverage and supporting hiring during non-peak times as well.
