Shayna Bryers | Atsushi Hasegawa | John Edwards Congratulations Judy! 1 June 2017.

ietmar Goetz, NSW Field Delivery Manager, recognized the excellent collaboration and team work of Shayna
DBryers, Atsushi Hasegawa and John Edwards.
Atsushi noticed that Vodafone had cases where the tape cartridge stuck on the tape drive. He noticed that someone
at the customer site was putting the sticker on top of the tape cartridge and despite reporting it to the tape librarian Anthony Martin | Jason Lee | Jeong-Ki Kim
he continued to get cases with this situation. So he escalated to his manager as he felt it was unsupported.
John Edwards was able to find the advisory note which gave clear evidence of a documented issue. nthony Martin and Jason Lee (New Zealand Field Services) recently worked with Jeong-Ki Kim (Tech Consultant,
AAustralia) on the first Synergy implementation in New Zealand for cloud infrastructure and applications solution
Shayna, as ADM for Vodafone, raised the issue with the customer. This collaboration and teamwork has clear benefits:
vGRID. The team worked long hours over the week and weekend to ensure the solution was up and running on time
 1. Less field cases required, decreasing the load on both backline and frontline teams for the customer launch.
 2. Better service to other customers, who may be impacted by additional workload caused at VHA
 3. VHA who will experience improved reliability of their tape backups due a reduction of dropped or stuck tapes. Read more about it here
