Aloe Banana Hair Mask
Items you will need:
● 1 medium-sized ripe banana
● 1 medium-sized leaf of ripe aloe Vera
● 1 tablespoon raw organic honey
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Wash and peel your medium-sized banana.
2. Break the banana into small pieces and add them to a mixing bowl.
3. With a spoon or your fingers, mash the flesh into a pulp. It’s okay if
you don’t have a pulp with a smooth texture - mush the fruit
as much as you can.
4. Wash your aloe Vera leaf.
5. With your knife make an incision into the corner of the flat side of
the leaf. Run your knife across the length of the leaf to split it
into a cross-section.
6. Use a spoon to extract the gel from inside the leaf and add it to the
mixing bowl with the banana.
7. Alternatively, you can also use 1/2 cup pure aloe Vera juice or gel
for medium-sized hair if you do not have fresh aloe Vera at
home.
8. Add the raw organic honey to complete your mixture.
9. Continue to blend till you have a thoroughly mixed mask.
10. If the mask is too thick, you can add a tablespoon or two of water
to dilute it and make it easy to apply.
11. Use a brush, spoon or even your fingers to apply this resulting
mask to your hair.
12. Apply evenly and ensure that you cover all sections of your scalp
thoroughly.
13. Cover your hair with a shower cap or plastic bag and allow the
mask to work its wonders for about fifteen to thirty minutes.
14. Then, rinse off with lots of water and an optional sulfate-free
shampoo.
15. Apply this treatment to your hair about three to four times a
month for a clean, itch-free scalp.
