Throughout its condition of being a multicultural society,
both the government and the Singaporeans need their space for
defining their notion of national identity to represent their
Singaporeaness. From my perspective, it is, obviously, difficult to
comprehend with the idea of how Singapore’s national identity would
be. At last, it is demanding to grasp and define such national identity
of contemporary Singapore, leading to its requirements of
reinterpretation and negotiation.
