Area Alarm Labeling
Chapter 1: Introduction
SHOCK HAZARD:
Turn off the power supply in the alarm, and leave it off during the
installation of any component or sub-assembly. Failure to do so could
result in personal injury or equipment damage.
3. Turn the power switch (CJ) to the OFF position.
4. Using an 11/32" nut driver, loosen the two nuts (CK) that secure each of the
label holders (CG) to the mounting studs (CH).

5. Using a word processing program, print the Avery® labels (Avery® part
number 8167) with the proper text.
6. For more information about Avery® labels, go to their Website at
http://www.Avery.com.
NOTE:
Most word processors have settings for Avery® labels.
7. For general printing tips, refer to the following:
a. Before printing a label sheet, print a blank piece of paper.
b. Place the printed piece of paper over the blank label sheet to make sure
the alignment is correct.
c. Fan the label sheets before putting them into the printer, being careful
not to bend or fold the corners.
d. Refer to your printer manual for loading and feeding recommendations.
8. To print a sheet of Avery® 8167 labels with Microsoft® Word 97, do the
following:
a. Click on the Tools menu.
b. Click on the Envelopes and Labels menu.
c. Click on the Options menu.
d. Click on Avery standard in the Label products menu window.
e. Click on 8167 - Return Address in the Product number menu window.
f. Click on OK.
g. Click on Full page of the same label in the Print window.
