No more adventures, Please

Mary, Jim and John were three siblings. They always used to wish for an adventure. Their
mother always used to say "You should never search for an adventure, the adventure will

find you." But the three naughty kids wouldn't listen.

One day when their parents were not at home they sneaked off to the nearby forest. They
wandered in the forest for some time. Then Jim spied a striped cat. "Oh, what a cute kitty",
Jim said. Mary looked uncomfortable."Are cats supposed to have orange and black stripes"

she said. "And growl like this?" John added.

Then a bigger cat like that came out of the bushes."Oh the cat's mother " said Jim."It's not
a cat, it's a tiger" shouted Mary running.They ran a long distance with the tiger in a hot pur-

suit. Then John caught a vine and climbed up and Jim and Mary followed suit. After growling
for some time, the tiger went.

"I am having second thoughts about this adventure " said Mary."Me too, I think we should go
home" said John.""Um, guys, sorry to interrupt, but are vines supposed to have heads" said

Jim. Mary looked down and shrieked "snakes". The three of them jumped down and ran so
fast that olympic athletes would have been jealous. They stopped after some time and Mary
said,"I think we need to go home." But John said in despair," We have lost our way." Before
Mary could start crying Jim said, "Doggy." John shouted, "Wolllfff....." and started running.
"Oh, why do all the animals in the forest have to come behind us", Mary cried.

"Hey, isn't it the village in front of us" said John. "Yes, it is" Mary said happily. They ran
very fast and reached the village. The wolves stopped at the edge of the forest. The three
kids went home "We never want an adventure again" said Mary.

Just then their mother came home. She said "Hey kids, guess what, I've booked tickets for
an adventure ride since you wanted adventure so badly. "The kids shouted, terrified "No
more adventures, Please."
