Director’s Message

Diya Academy of Learning has been educating boys and girls since 2005, and though

much has changed over the years, our mission remains the same. Diya is committed
to developing students of high academic achievement, intellectual curiosity, and
strong moral character. As a result, year after year, Diya matriculates respectful,
responsible, and compassionate young adults, who are well prepared to tackle the
challenges that lay ahead.

Since arriving at Diya Academy of Learning in 2011, I have had the opportunity to
observe this unique institution up close. I've seen its commitment to academic excel-
lence, its dynamic student body, an incredibly committed faculty, and a loving com-
munity where the students and families are proud and supportive of one another.

Diya’s co-educational environment reflects the world in which our students will one
day live and work. Beyond mastering academic disciplines, our students are taught to
respect all people and things, to be honest with themselves and others, put forth
maximum effort, and seek ways to support their communities.

We have also forayed into teacher’s training by tying up with Academy for Creative
Teaching (ACT) and have come up with a Finishing School for Teachers (FST). FST
st
provides hands on skill based training to the teachers of the 21 century. We have
successfully completed training two batches of teachers who are well placed in re-
puted schools.

We have started a unique project of “Coffee with the director” which provides an
opportunity to our valued parents to spend some quality time with our senior manag-
ing team members to have a warm and friendly exchange of ideas. Over the period
of last few months we have met over 130 parents and have gained valuable inputs
from them.

We shall keep holding up the torch, by continuing to be committed to the pursuit of
promoting human excellence, with a vision and mission that will bring glory to the
globe.
