n February, Western Association of Chamber Executives president Brad Hicks passed the gavel to Todd Sanders,
IPresident & CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. During his tenure, Hicks led the association to
record conference attendance, as well as an all-time high in membership, and in advancing the organization’s
efforts to create a brand strategy for chambers of commerce around the western United States. W.A.C.E. is
the premier organization for education and professional development of chamber executives and
staff, representing over 850 chamber professionals in over 20 western states and two
Canadian provinces. Said Hicks, “To have been given the confidence to lead,
from you my peers, is one of the greatest honors of my career.” He
was also recognized for over 25 years of service to The
Chamber of Medford/Jackson County.
